Let’s Forkin’ Dance, named by the community, has been more than just a campaign—it’s been a celebration of everything the Tanssi ecosystem represents. Through a series of on-chain and off-chain challenges, LFD has brought together builders, casual users, and key network supporters, offering something for everyone to participate in and enjoy.

Let’s Forkin Dance: The First Tanssi Incentivized Testnet Campaign
The goal was clear: to drive high activity and maximize growth on Tanssi. To add to the excitement, 1% of the Tanssi Network (10M tokens) was allocated as incentives for the top participants in this inaugural Tanssi TestNet campaign. This is just the beginning, setting the stage for more community-driven initiatives soon.
Incentives were divided into three tracks: 40% for the Tanssians track, 40% for the Builders track, and 20% for the Block Producers track. This distribution ensured that everyone had the opportunity to play a significant role in the Tanssi Network, encouraging early participation and contributing to collective progress.
The campaign’s main goals—boosting activity, growing the community, and increasing awareness and usage within the ecosystem—were all met, thanks to everyone’s engagement!
LFD Fueled Growth in Community, Ecosystem & Network Traction
The Tanssian community channeled its enthusiasm into engaging deeply with Tanssiland and its ecosystem, taking on a series of quests that brought them closer to the project. Participants had the opportunity to experience various projects firsthand, become early adopters, and provide valuable feedback that has been crucial in shaping the network’s future.
As the campaign draws to a close, let’s reflect on some key milestones:
150,000+ participants from around the world engaged in quests hosted by 41 teams within the Tanssi ecosystem, all competing for top performance.
The Dancebox testnet recorded over 2.7 million transactions, offering a preview of activity levels anticipated on the mainnet.
The Tanssi community experienced a 10x growth across all channels, welcoming new members and expanding its reach.
More than 2,500 application chains (appchains) deployments were completed on the testnet, providing valuable experiences for users and enhancing the visibility of Tanssi’s capabilities.
The Final Countdown: Rankings and Incentives
As Let’s Forkin’ Dance approaches its conclusion, it’s important to be aware of the key details that will guide the wrap-up of this campaign. The final rankings will be released after the campaign ends, showcasing the top performers who have contributed most to the Tanssi testnet.
Campaign End Date: August 28, 2024, at 10 AM ET.
Final Rankings Published: August 30, 2024. Rankings will be displayed on the lfd.tanssi.network platform and will reflect total engagement, with a focus on on-chain activity. To ensure fairness, the Tanssi team has assembled a dedicated squad to penalize users found to have engaged in bot activity.
Incentives Claiming: Incentives will be available to claim after Tanssi’s network completes its launch. To claim these incentives, winners will need to use a special NFT as a keypass. NFT Claim Process
The rare LFD Winners NFT, which serves as a proof of honor and the key to accessing your incentives, will be available 10 days after the final rankings are published. The window for obtaining this NFT will remain open for a period leading up to the Tanssi mainnet launch, with detailed instructions provided as we approach that date.
Who’s Eligible: Winners will be determined based on their rankings in each track. For more details on who qualifies for the winners pool per track, please visit this page.
NFT Utility: The NFT will unlock your incentives once Tanssi is fully launched and operational, anticipated in early 2025. It will also grant access to additional bonus surprises within the Tanssi ecosystem and future campaigns. Please note, eligibility verification, including potential background checks, might be required when claiming incentives.
The Role of the Tanssi Token
